Don’t know if herring will pitch but after watching him all year, if he thinks they need him, he will be in jays ear. Dude is a gamer.

I’m not sure when he throws his bullpen. I would guess either Monday or Tuesday after a Friday start.

Jay Johnson said last year re: Skenes you don't bring him in early and concede the momentum when you inevitably have to pull him early on pitch count.

LSU history: Ryan Theriot played short stop on 2001 .. he came in to pitch against OM. First position player in a while to have come in and pitch. Against Ole Miss.

Yes. Start him. Give him a 30-40 pitch count. The season is on the line with nothing to lose.
