If LSU was up 77 - 3 in the 3rd quarter on an SEC Western Division Opponent this upcoming season and MB#15 started the game, who would you put in as the Quarterback for the rest of the game?

We'll let Kardell Thomas run wildcat the whole 2nd half.

Mr. Pancake might injure some players for the other team running downhill

Backup QB has always been popular with the fans. Except when Burrow was QB.

Myles Brennan isn't starting anything in 2022. He had to separate himself from the pack in the 15 spring practices and in the spring game, however, Nussmeier separated himself from the pack instead.

Brennan is a nice guy but he is not close to being the best QB on the team.

Thanks Mrs Nussmeier. Sorry your son will be 3rd string this season.

Backup is the perfect spot for Myles

Fans can unjustifiably call for him to start while Nuss and Daniels win us games

Daniels only in wildcat packages with his legs. He is far too horrible of a passer to be permitted to throw the ball.

My belief is whether Nuss or Myles is the starter there will be a series per half for Daniels. Similar to what CLM did with Perilloux. Miles always stuck to the game plan with Perilloux regardless of the game circumstances.

I remember getting so frustrated with CLM. Especially after LSU finally had a productive offensive series and the QB and offense seemed to be finally figuring it out. Then here comes Perilloux. When it was a 3 and out, I knew it was always cool to bash CLM and I was on cue.

Then Mauck got hurt and LSU was in the SEC championship game with a Backup QB.

That's the day, I learned love him or hate him, LSU plays for Championships not victories.

Another way to get everyone’s opinion on who’s starting, I couldn’t imagine something less interesting lol
Nobody knows
We haven’t had the competition yet really. It will be decided in the fall but if you just went by the post spring presser , you could tell that Kelly is comfortable with myles out there. Doesn’t mean he will win it but at that time , he probably would start if we had a game that upcoming Saturday.

The question is , did nuss just play over his head in that spring game or was he doing that in practice too. Will he continue to have that downfield accuracy in fall practice? If so, he has a chance.

That’s obviously what stood out in the passing game to me. It was myles’ comfort with the offense and nuss’ downfield accuracy that stood out. We will see if those things continue this fall

What tells you that Jayden will be the starter whenever he was obviously the worst of the three in the only competitive atmosphere we’ve witnessed?

Just wanting to be different?

Phil Steele projects Jaylen as the starter in his annual publication, and he's mista know-it-all.

Why would you refute Dr. Steele's expertise in all things college football?

He doesn’t know more than the average fan about what’s going on with the program
