Make a list of the lowest paid Div 1 coaches and take the bottom 5. That is the shortlist. They get bonus points if they haven't been fired in the last 3 years.

Pat Kelsey at winthrop should be on everyones short list. Skip prosser disciple who also coached under dino gaudio and chris mack. i believe hes the second most successful coach at winthrop (behind gregg marshall).

Saw on another board that the coach from Nicholls is a guy that will likely get swooped up by a bigger program. Richie Riley is his name. Can someone with some knowledge of this tell us a bit more?

I agree, Roman Banks from Southern would run circles around Johnny Jones coached team. Roman Banks at LSU would lock up the states best recruits.

There's only one who can truly turn this program around if you wish to be realistic. Hire Norman Dale away from Hickory but be sure Jimmy Chitwood transfers with at least two years of eligibility !!

Given that LSU isn't going to pay big bucks on its men's ball coach I think Kermit Davis is a realistic and solid choice.

He's gotta be on the short list.

Randy Livingston doesn't have a chance in hell of getting the position. Please stop.
