Notre Dame is NBC's pet and a national program but they've not won a NT since 1988 and I like to see them win on occasion.

Speaking for myself I sure as sh*t wouldn't want to see any other team in SEC other than maybe Ole Miss for some rivalry refinery.
I damn sure wouldn't want to see Ohio (Tough break, when you in mate!!) State finaly come back and win it this year, or any other yankee team for that matter. No Miami's, no NEBRASKA'S (I don't feel sorry for them, they've had their time).
The only way I would want USC in another NC is if we are playing them. That is exactly who I would want us to play for the next title.

I don't like any other SEC team. The only reason why lots of people like or at least don't mind Miss State, Vandy, and Kentucky is because they are bad. Once they were to become good I would bet people would start not liking them. But to answer the question, I'd like to see a service academy or any cinderella story. So I'd say Army, Navy, Air Force, Baylor, Northwestern, Miami (Ohio), and Wyoming.

A non BCS team would be a nice change.... and wouldn't it be funny if tOSU was who they beat....
If would be easier to say who i wouldn't want to win...

It would be a huge start for 2009 is Washington won it. Past 2 chanps to start the season off would be a nice draw....but ain't gonna happen

That's an easy one and it would be one of LSU's opponents this year. I would like to see Appalachian State win the Football Championship Subdivision after LSU beats them 100 - 0.
