Before the season and Burrow’s arrival, must Guys on this board were predicting a disastrous season to the tune of like a 6-5 or 5-6 season.
Anyway you look at it a 10-2 or 9-3 regular season is outstanding. Props to O and his staff for working their asses off!!

Exactly. We got rid of a good coach because he fell short of 10 wins a few times. The replacement (Ogeron) MUST be better than the previous coach or it was a bad hire.

You are exactly right until you prefer one moronic view over another. I don't care whether I was right about the hire or wrong as long as we fix the problems we've had for way too many years. Aside from talent level because that changes year to year bc of the draft and incoming but from a system stand point we have relied on our defense to be excellent for too many years to not have fixed the offense. We are the exact opposite of absolute best ever "insert Big 10 name here" yet because we play in the SEC are not considered a joke somehow. That is changing and if we do not fix our offensive problems we will one day not have an excellent defense and that will be catastrophic for all LSU fans. I don't care how or who fixes it, as long as it gets fixed fast. Like next year must have drastic improvement. Now if you're one of those fans that refuses to see anything broken other than the lack of experience then honestly you don't want to be great.

Rewatch the Rice game. You can see some of what they want to do. As soon as they get the personnel in place these conversations will be a thing of the past. I think O may bring in another OC either way the offense should vastly improve next season.

That short passing game they had going early on was a thing of beauty and it blows my mind why we haven't been doing more of that this season.

Better than I thought doesn't necessarily equate to being where I want them to be. The goal is to win the west again, for starters. Adding another year of that not happening is still a disappointment, even though 10 wins on the surface is a nice season. It's all relative. You want a banner. If no banner, obviously 10 is a better win total than 6, but you're still eating chicken nuggets at the kids table, no steak for you.

I understand they needed some time to work on some things. But, LSU should never be in the bottom half of the conference in offense.

Please. Rice is absolute garbage. They could have done literally anything they wanted against Rice and it would have worked.
Know who else is pretty damn bad (just not Rice bad)? Arkansas, Southeastern, LA Tech. That right there tells you our offense is not good. They only did what they wanted to do against the lowest of the low. Any defense with a pulse this year (except for Georgia) has shut LSU down big time.
Don't give me this crap of, what we did against rice is what we will do to everybody next season. Rice is straight trash.
