Everybody. Is anybody complaining because LSU may finish 10-2?

Do they give trophies to all the teams now?

For some reason, even before seasons where everyone is picking us to suck, i still have a championship or bust mindset. I miss having a championship to play for late in the year

This was asked before the season.

I would still rather go for a championship than sign for exactly 10 wins.

However, with crazy chaos you never know.

I wouldn't call 10-2 a participation trophy exactly. It's achieving a great season with a NY6 bowl berth, and is better than 95% of the rest of college football teams.

However, the offense being ranked near the bottom of all statistical categories in the SEC and nation is a concern. These people beating their chest about 10-2 are overlooking major concerns on offense.

As an LSU fan, I really hope we win this game. As a reader of tRant, I really hope we win this game because if we don't, the jackasses are gonna use these threads for days about putting the cart before the horse.

It's no worse than the threads that will be started about being 10-2, going to a NY6 bowl, and Orgeron winning SEC Coach of the year, which have the main purpose of calling out anybody who had concerns along the way.

I'll take that, rather than the threads after the loss though, because it means we will have won.

but NOT 10 & 3 ! If we can finish 11 & 2 it proves we were really only 1 game away from a playoff berth. I would love for LSU's floor every season to be 2 losses. You'll always finish top 10 that way, and based on our resources, I feel our program should be top 10 EVERY season.

Some of those threads may be warranted.

LSU should win 10 games a year, to not do so is pathetic. Especially with four cupcakes a year on the schedule

The offense can not possibly perform well enough Saturday to jump itself high enough in the rankings to where we can say, there is nothing to worry about going forward.

What if 10 wins meant playing for the championship?

Of course not. I was only talking about the win total. I don't know what the answer is to the offense, but something has to be tweaked at the very least. I'm still not convinced the answer is as easy as just firing Ensminger.

It has far more to do with the performance of other teams. All LSU needs to do is win.

most experts put at 6-6 or 7-5

Can we put this to bed? After LSU beat Miami and Auburn the expectations for this team changed. Just because some guys said 6 or 7 wins doesn't mean that LSU should be pleased with anything above that.
