Man, I don't know. I thought we had a mediocre roster that underachieved last year. Bad combination. I love LSU hoops but last year was brutal.

I was all in on CMM but last year definitely challenged that. I hope he can improve the program this year. I think that's all we can hope for.

There is no 20 ppg player on this team. Don’t care what cook scored last year, his attempt numbers will go down at lsu but percentages could go up. I see baker, ward, wright, cook, hannible have chances for double digit averages.

Honestly was never really sold on him working here.

He just is a boring guy and boring isn’t going to win or work at LSU. He comes off as lazy and stubborn. He isn’t exciting to recruits.

Scott was money on his other hires but he made a mistake on this one.

It's hard to score in the SEC without an SEC-caliber point guard. Hill wasn't for sure, and for Hannibal who couldn't shoot beyond 12 to 15 ft to start games tells how bad it was. Cook is that guy. We will be much improved for that reason alone. CMM by a long shot had the least to work with lady year for many reasons. The narrative will be much different this year. Last year's transfers weren't even starters on their previous teams with the exception of the guys he brought in from Murray St and Hill was a disappointment. Cook, Baker, and Collins were all top 4 players coming out of LA or TX, and Wright was arguably the best player on a Vandy team that wasn't far from making the tournament.
Time will tell, but I have faith in this team and CMM. All the negativity and dwelling on a tough 1st season just holds us back and acts like the NCAA investigation in stunting our ability to recruit. My hope is that it Inspires these young men to pull together vs the haters and prove them wrong. Geaux Tigers!

Would it make you feel better if I said good high school boys teams can beat wnba teams? That was the point, to show the absurdity of saying the LSU women’s team could beat the men’s.

Cook & Stewart are undersized but should give them more of a scoring punch vs last year

The freshmen from last year have to make a leap for this team to be any good. That’s pretty much it

Stringer and Hickey re-dux?

I'll hope for some overachievement this coming year because we'll have to have that to be competitive and because IMHO we underachieved even relative to talent last year in my view. That's what I'll be looking at because I think we'll be in about the same boat in regard to relative talent vs. our SEC peers.

Man, we need to get that sarcasm font working.

I thought you were serious because I know at least one man who honestly believes this.
