I notice he added nothing to back up his assertions.

Talk down about the coach at LSU
Seems like talking down about the previous guy (who won 3 SEC titles and a national title, and played for 1 more of each) is fine.
Les had 11 full seasons. 5 finished with 2 or less losses. O has yet to reach that level. 8 finished with 3 or less losses, O has done that once.
So, let's be fair and give O 9 more years, he needs to have 7 more seasons equal to last season or better. Needs to make the SEC championship 4 of those years, win 3 of those, make it to the national championship game twice and win one.
THAT will give him an LSU career equal to Miles. Not better, equal.
And like I said in a previous post, I hope he does it. Not for him, but for me as a fan. He's got to step it up to do so.

Orgeron definitely has the potential to have a better career at LSU than miles did.
With the way he is attacking recruiting nationwide, along with the emphasis on Louisiana kids, success will open up a new era for LSU football.3nk

Lol. O won’t win the west, much less a national title.

quote:Not true. O is winning at a higher rate since taking over.
He's winning at the same rate of the guy we fired, not the Mad Hatter that won a NC and played in another.
Coach O has been LSUs HC for 34 games.
In O's 34 games he is:
25-9 - 73.5%
In Miles' last 34 games he was :
23-11 - 67.6%
Miles didn't get fired for his good years. He got fired for being too stubborn to change his offense - and the resulting slump his teams were in.

Weird that you’d compare O’s first 34 to Miles’ last. Almost as if it was specifically crafted to make O look better.
ETA: it’s also hilarious that O is a whopping TWO games better than Miles’ “bad years” lmao

So wait...O is now going into his 4th season as HC?
Because all you Obots kept saying the interim year doesn’t count. Which is it?

Not weird at all. Apples to apples. Both coach's most recent sample.
And there is a big difference between 73.5% and 67.6% (like having the job, or getting fired)

It’s a little thought provoking to realize that Miles worse years has been coach O’s best Years.

Sounds like you are trying to devalue Les Miles accomplishments and over value Orgeron
Battled him from day 1?
Got his arse kicked 29-0 that’s not a battle that’s a straight up arse whipping.

he is averaging the 4th best class in the sec over his classes.

Whichever the current argument calls for. These people tend to flip flop on everything and contradict their own post without any thought or hesitation.

except this thread isnt about O barely being better than the results that unanimously made lsu fans want to move on from Miles.
this thread is about whether or not O will finish his lsu career with a top win% in sec history,2 sec titles,3 west titles, a national title, another title game appearance ,most top 25,top 20,top 15,top 10, and top 5 finishes in lsu history.
as of right now lsu is still....
losing to bama( havent had a lead for a single second since you know who was fired)
losing to multiple other inferior teams
having a shite offense(except now those offenses are even less productive than Miles' offenses. in 2 years O has decimated the lsu run game)
