The inference in your post seems to be that Frank Wilson is really not the best coach to be interim HC.
Please note that he has head coach experience at two different colleges that didn’t think what you infer is/was true.
He maybe the only assistant with HC experience. I don’t know that for a fact but I believe that is correct. I have no reservation about Frank Wilson. This is a tough hand he’s been dealt.

Then he would have to be hired as head coach. With a new contract. Also, if he went undefeated, and was hired as head coach, would it be a DEI hire?

Doesn't it make more sense to give a good coach without head coaching experience (DC) the interim HC interim job then give a guy with losing record the head coach interim?

You drawing politics into a football discussion makes you look like a tool.
You getting overheated over a meaningless bowl game makes you look like a try-hard.
Wilson is getting paid by LSU to do a job. Let him do his job. Kiffin can use this time to evaluate his players and coaches. He doesn't need to coach the game, he's got a lot of other work to do first.

No. It makes more sense to give the guy with head coaching experience the interim tag until the next season. Kind of like naming orgeron interim with aranda as DC.

Racist and dumb? Great combo. Even if you are a bad enough person to believe this bullshite, maybe think for a second about how this reflects on the school and the background of the majority of the guys on our team. Go play in traffic or better yet just sterilize yourself. The sooner the better in terms of jettisoning fans like this.
