I agree completely. I will still be pissed if we lose to Texas and UF though

Sure, watch this and que LnchDaddy:

Jordan Jefferson was a stain on the program and shouldn't have played in 2011.

That was one of the most awkward press conferences I’ve ever seen. I really wonder how many concussions he suffered in his playing days.

Oh god yes, especially if it’s Florida, I hate that school with a passion.

But what if he goes 9-3 and loses 3 wars vs great teams? What if he loses at Bama 24-21 on a last second FG, Texas 21-20 on a late TD and Florida 28-27 in a nail biter?

I mean, sure it matters what games and how well the games were played, but 3 losses will still be disappointing.

Losing to Texas and Bama will be enough to lose A lot of confidence.

Although I guess it won’t matter much to you, you’ll defend it anyway, as I’m sure it won’t be Poor Ol’ O’s fault. Guy just can’t catch a break I’m sure!

His record in the sec had fallen off a lot. What should LSU have done?

It was time for LSU and Les Miles to part ways. I've said that dozens upon dozens of times in past posts. But the idea was to improve, not to remain the same, which is what we've done since the coaching change was made.

I was on the fence about o during the 2016 season, and up until the Florida game, I thought maybe he would be okay. I changed my mind after that game.

I didn't like how the 2017 season played out, but this past year was pretty decent minus a few games. I know you guys, Roger especially, probably think I'm dying to see o get canned, but I'm not.

He just needs to do the same thing that Miles needed to do, and that's be the figurehead of the program and let his coaches coach. Although I will admit I'm don't think Ensminger is the right choice at OC.

But I'll say the same thing dozens of other posters have said. If or when o starts winning the big games, people (like myself), will start warming up to the guy.

Or am I confused as to why a coaching change was made?

Did you not see the two bumbling losses in 2016? Or the 5 losses in 14?

Les had passed his prime which is precisely why he's in Kansas. Regardless who we hired, the move had to be made

Everyone agrees that it was time to move on from Miles. Everyone doesn’t agree that it was the right move to hire the worst coach in Ole Miss history who couldn’t have paid a school to hire him as DC, much less HC. That goes for any D1 school, except apparently LSU.

Damones posts have nothing to do with me.

And it could be, some of his posts are only to rile-up some of you thin-skinned knuckleheads.

Yeah, Roger l was as against O being hired as much as anyone, but IMO at this point what he did at Ole Miss has nothing to do with what happens this year other than learning from his mistakes. It's pretty irrelevant to me at this point as is the Troy loss.

I disagree, there are actually people who thought it would be a good idea for LSU to hire O as HC.

Everyone knows it's irrelevant. Trolls just like to troll. Hell, I enjoy trolling from time to time.

I agree with everything you said. I didn’t hire O. My thoughts since he was hired was well he will be our coach a minimum of 3-4 yrs so I’m giving him a chance. If he wasn’t making changes offensively I would be pissed but I think he knows how great of an opportunity he has and he will do everything he can to not lose his job.
