also let me be clear, O has exceeded my incredibly low expectations of him, but that's primarily b/c he lucked out on Burrow

if we don't land Burrow we're a 5-6 win team last year and he's on the hottest seat in CFB other than USC (with only another transfer QB as a potential career savior)

O inherited a team with no QB
& 3 WRs that transferred out due to Miles ineptness on offense, and a 4th in Jazz between the coaching transition. I don’t think the situations are comparable. This year will tell a lot

He lured in transfer that’s at least equal to Mett, signed a 4-star this year and has two committed for 2020.

Burrow is not as good as Mett and both Harris and Jennings were high 4*.

early on Miles did tinker. we went from Jimbo to Crowton

because Jimbo left

O is tinkering (with vastly inferior early success)

except when Miles took over he had an OC that was with LSU for 5 years...so no you can't say this bc Miles did not have the same issues.

0 had Ensminger, who clearly is exactly who he wanted.

Etling was serviceable, and the best WR he threw to was Charles who is a WR3 on any formidable LSU team, so I get it. But he was nothing more than a stop gap. Not a foundation player. Don’t really care if he was drafted in the 7th rd or not.

Amazing how easily you backtracked from no QB.

He inherited Danny Etling and a recruiting class with two 4* QBs committed.

No he hired a 1st yr OC then replaced him with Ensminger...How is that comparable to Miles having Fisher for 2 years before having to "tinker" with a new OC?

Oh, we're skipping the interim stuff. I can never keep up with you since you always go back and forth.

And then went out and got JB with a upperclassmen waiting in the wings.

Something miles struggled with and was his ultimate demise.

O has LSU football trending up right now, really is a damn shame you nerds and haters can’t enjoy it and acknowledge it.

It’s ok,,,, just admit you were wrong about the hire.

However, the facts are that Miles was in a long-running QB rut that he couldn’t solve. That’s what got Miles fired, not the 3 loss threshold that you fools argue over daily.

Miles didn’t sign a single HS QB that developed into even a solid college QB even the ones that transferred out and he signed some 4*, the odds of that have to be astronomical. Dinardo signed what 3 in 5 years

However if we had beaten Arkansas and OM in 2015 or maybe just 1, Miles would not have been fired 4 games into the 2016 season.

Right. Miles never brought in transfer QBs.

I’ve said Orgeron will never win a title at LSU. Conference or national.

To date I’m spot on.

Nah, you just don’t understand context. There was no QB on LSU’s roster, that when he took over, could elevate a team from where the offense had been most of Miles’ tenure. Danny Etling sure the hell wasnt that guy.

LE: Miles left nothing at QB.

me: That QB was drafted.

LE: Well he was serviceable.

That is you immediately walking back what you said. We haven't even touched on the fact that Les got Brennan here.

You are so horrible at acting smart.
