He has exceeded my expectations. I thought he would fail with 6-6 type seasons tbh. I admit I was wrong there, happily.
He has not exceeded my program expectations of 10 regular season wins and beating Bama.

He has not done this yet. Not even close. Les won a title and had a magical year in 2011.
not sure how anyone can argue with this

Les squandered some of the greatest talent ever assembled in an LSU uniform,
If having one of the most accomplished tenures in SEC history is squandering talent I hope every lsu coach squanders talent.
I swear some of you are under the impression miles tenure wasnt the most accomplished in lsu history.
As many top 5 finishes as saban, mac and dietzel combined.
More top 10 finishes than the previous 40 years of lsu football combined.

O not upgrade over 2005-2011 LM
This was also a time frame prior to Bama rising to the monster program it has become...so therefore a little easier for Leslie back then.
Those crowing about Les beating Bama during this time fail to realize/admit Bama was a lot more beatable back then....now....not so much.

Same argument...different day.
He DID NOT win enough hardware given the amount of talent and level of recruiting classes he brought in.
To me this still constitutes underachieving.
Saban has maximized his talent and then some...Les not so much.

Are we talking about before or after Miles’ nuts fell off?

Recruiting is off the charts and coming off a great year.
O just needs to have a better next couple of years and then the history books will write themselves.

Won the West 3 times. Won the SEC 2 times. Won the natty once and played for another.
That’s a very successful 10 years before you even factor in the following:
He also did that while playing in the most dominant Era we have ever seen from a CFB conference, and coaching against the GOAT CFB coach in the midst of the greatest CFB dynasty of our lifetimes.

O has exceeded my expectations but it is way to soon to say anything about him being an upgrade.

Yes, absolutely.

No shot. Multiple SEC west titles, two NCG appearances, one title. People remember his last stale season or two.

If what miles did was so easy, why arent these other coaches doing it?
And yes saban is a better coach than miles.
You're making the mistake of acting like a better x and o coach wouldve actually brought in the same amount of talent as miles did.
Miles underachieved at the end I agree but I would never label his tenure as underachieving. Especially not when its judged against lsu football history.

look like all the O haters are still living in 2007 and the regular season of 2011
. You'd be a fool to believe making it to the 08 NCG wasn't pure luck. Les's dominance also came before Saban completely took over football. O is a HUGE upgrade from the Les Miles that was fired.

Considering you are trying to tout that O's recruiting is improving on Les' recruiting, what else would you have us compare?
I'll do it for you:
Miles' last three class ranks: 2, 5, 2
O's last three class ranks: 5, 15, 7
Which ranks are better
I told your dumb arse that when O has a comparable body of work I'll be happy to compare. Until then I'll continue to laugh at your stupidity.

It's the curse of success. As Bill Parcells said "If you aren't doing it now you ain't sh*t."

You realize half of Saban's championship come from equal amounts of pure luck, right?

Pre-1/9/12 Les kicks the shite out of Orgeron right now.

What does that mean? That O has to win the SEC West, SEC or National Championship before you will compare the two? I thought this was just relegated to recruiting?

Basically the identical record in 2015 as the "awesome" season O had in 2018. Is the program still in decline?

How long does Orgeron need before he can start being compared to other coaches?

No. You started wanting to compare 5 of les seasons to 3 of Os seasons. When O has 5 seasons we'll take a look. You won't be around because you will have been laughed off the board by then. There's a pretty good chance that I won't be around either but hopefully somebody will call all of you sorry pieces of shite out for your sorriness.
