Pretty hard to argue with this. Some honorable mentions would have to include Peterson, Chase, Jus. Jefferson and Jarvis

What's that have to do with his performance exactly? 2015 was an incredible year...he couldn't help that his defense and offensive gameplans sucked

Not an SEC Champ or National Award winner. Not saying he wasn’t terrific, just not as good as

Burrow
TM7
White
PP7
Chase

What did Fournette accomplish from a team standpoint or individual award standpoint, again? I must have missed it.

Besides having the best rushing year in LSU history?

Yep, on a team that won nothing and had zero individual awards to go with it. I have a hard time getting over the quitting on his team when Miles got fired. Didn’t show up to football ops for a month.

Youre not answering my question.

Many of the best players in history never won an NC or award, specifically because the team around them wasnt great

I considered Peterson as more part of the first decade of the millennium. If I included him He would be at 3 and Guice would fall out of the top 5.

LF7 did get called out on Twitter by Jamal Adams for faking an injury to get out of the bowl game against Louisville.

LF7 was a great player but it was all about him. Wasn’t a a great teammate.

2. Tyrann Matthieu
3. Patrick Peterson
4. Jamar Chase
5. Devin White

This is the correct answer. Adams, Landry, Beckham, Guice are all better than Fournette

But you will ride with Mathieu who couldn’t put the drugs away and got kicked off what could have been a national championship team with him in 2012.

I wouldn’t call that a great teammate either.

Btw, Miles told Chase to play CB

In all fairness, he'd be successful at DB if he dedicated the same amount of time to it as he has WR

In 2011 I ride anywhere with the Badger. SEC Champion and best year a defender has ever had at LSU. What else?

But he “quit on his team” the next year. Therefore you must hate him forever just like you hate LF.

Hate? Go get your pacifier. Leonard was a terrific player. Just not a Top 5 of last decade.
