Pat Screen, he had the whole package but got hurt early in the 1963 season when I became an authentic Tiger supporter. Then later in that season, and in much of 1964 as well, Billy Ezell, who was TERRIBLE! Occasionally he would connect with receivers for brilliant TD passes, like vs Ole Miss to Billy Masters, the tight end (also in the Bama game the next week), and to Doug Moreau in the Sugar Bowl vs Syracuse, but more often than not he stunk up the field, and a game performance of 1 completion in 12 attempts, with 2 interceptions, occurred more than once in his tenure.
Pat Screen, on the other hand, was AMAZING, both passing and running, in limited action, in 1963, 1964 and 1965.
My first semester at LSU was the Spring '63. I can relate to everything you are saying but wasn't Nelson Stokely sandwiched between Screen and Ezell?

The one.
The only.
Fat Teddy Bridgewater.
I have memories as far back as...
... but fat Teddy Bridgewater was when I was really paying attention and got excited.

This, Josh Booty. I was 8 or 9. He’s the first name I remember saying when talking about LSU QBs. Rohan Davey is my first hero at QB though. Rohan to Reed is super nostalgic for me. I remember going to games in 98-99 and we sucked. I remember Dinardo getting fired and then LSU dominating the last game of the season (Arkansas yes?). My first couple years watching LSU football was me hoping we would win. I think* I was at the 97 Florida game (gotta ask my parents*), but my memories start right at the end of the Dinardo era. After that it’s the amazing run we had in to 2000’s. I went to the Sugar Bowl in 2001 and by then I was already all in. I vaguely remember everyone being excited when we won the Indepencence Bowl in... 96 I think? Idk, I was 5 or so then so I’m not entirely sure. If anything I said is wrong feel free to let me know, I’m going off memories from childhood.
