Ask this question again in 10 to 15 years from now and this thread will be littered with Burreaux

Josh Booty, remember playing as him on NCAA Football 2001 for PS1, that game was epic

Daigle was much better. My cousin was friends with him, but I’d admit it if he weren’t.

Buddy Lee wasn't the starter in 1969, but he did play a good bit, as McClendon's backups always did. Buddy played backup to Mike Hillman in 1969 and started ahead of Bert Jones in 1970
I remember Buddy really well. He wore number 18, and he seemed to stand so tall in the pocket. Drafted by the Bears. He passed away at the age of 67

It was either Woodley or Ensminger. That was the Era I became a diehard fan. I was a little boy "LSU is cool" fan with Bert Jones.

Same year as you 1969 but a different QB for me - Mike Hillman. Hillman led the LSU 1969 team to a 9-1 record.
Then after LSU was shunned by the January 1 Bowls, the team voted not to go to a bowl game. That team averaged 34.9 points a game but lost to Ole Miss who was 3-3 at the time they played.
