there we have it, Steve Korte, the most freakish athlete at LSU since Tommy Cassanova

quote:No, the commentary was neither vague nor based around that theme. The commentary was very specific, and directly centered on the theme that you have a laughable notion of what "athleticism" means because you absolutely dismiss anything that is not specifically reported on an NFL combine report. If a 190 pound guy ran the 40 yards in 4.6 seconds, and the 400 meter in 40 seconds, you would say he wasn't athletic because his 40 time was pedestrian and the combines don't measure the 400.
the rest was mostly filled with vague commentary based around the theme that LSU fans hate athleticism

are you saing korte wasn't a freak athlete?
hell the next in line that i could think of was luke sanders. for how mediocre he was on the field, he tested well

well considering this is a discussion on football players, i'd assume that we would be framing the testing around football needs

if Laron Landry isnt a freak, Steve Korte isnt a freak. I dont care that he weighed 15 more lbs.

quote:But without knowing any other measurable (combine or otherwise) about Cassonova, you automatically concluded that he could not be a freak athlete if he ran a 4.6 40. That's what's funny. And what's really funny is that while making arbitrary assertions like that, you keep insisting that "freak" is more of a flexible determination, as if WE are the ones not grasping that.
well with all the other weight to look at, it would be hard to say otherwise

On page five. So, the prediction was off by a page. And his "correct" answer was a guy who never took a meaningful snap as a Tiger. You really are a strange man.
And, to rebut one of your previous statements, I don't think you've ever asked an honest question on this board in your entire post history. You are perhaps the most intellectually dishonest person I have ever encountered, which is quite an accomplishment on the internet, the land of intellectual dishonesty. There's some stiff competition out there.

he ran like a 4.37 and threw up a ton of reps
if he did everything better than laron and was 0.02 slower while being 20 lb heavier, how is he not noticeably more athletic than laron?

Oh yea, another guy who would be a freak athlete according to your criteria is Steven Korte. He fits every damn one of your points. I think he is the answer you are looking for.
too bad he may be one of the dumbest people to walk on the campus of LSU.

well technically it was answered correctly on page 1 with tyrus, but i was meaning football

and?
indy also needed no explanation and knew what i meant

the frick?
most smart people know if i'm tryin to teach a lesson. the rantards don't, but that's part of the process
this was an honest question

as an overall college player, I told the world that Christian Ducre would be better than Korte and I was laughed at.

And now we progress into the "SlowFlow explains how you cannot possibly be a great football player if you don't have outstanding measurables at the NFL combine, except for all those guys who did, but he has some great excuses for how they don't prove him wrong" portion of the thread.
