Schmidt just needs to mature.

Just by watching him in the background, he seems to do goofy things when he isn't pitching. When he does pitch, he just seems uncomfortable.

When he dedicates himself to improving everyday, he will be special.

I hope it is next year.

Yep. Schmidt mentally doesnt seem mature enough to handle it yet. His demeanor seems goofy and not quite ready for the big time. Hopefully next year
