Why, so he can go somewhere and start. and where would he go to get a starting job. Every school should have 4 scholarship qbs that’s just not the norm here

If Brennan doesn’t get the start, i think he’ll have no choice but to transfer. He’s running out of time. But with the game the way it is today, who knows. Both nuss and Brennan could. One thing we do know is, Daniels is DEFINITELY NOT transferring

Nuss. Brennan starts this year Daniels is your backup then Howard and Daniels battle it out next year. Honestly I like Nuss but I am not that impressed from what I have seen.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Nuss went to TCU or SMU with his Texas ties. Most the big name schools have their guys imo.

Nuss will turn out to be a really good QB I believe, under the right coaching. Has the talent and moxie, just needs to play within a system.

I just don't see a better opportunity opening up for Nuss after the Spring Game. At least at LSU there is a decent chance he will be used as the primary backup since he used his redshirt last year.
I know I am beating a deadlocked, but turning down the bowl game is looking like a bigger mistake every day. If he balled out he would have some teams interested in clearing a spot for him. As it is his resume won't get him that.

Starter likely wont be determined to the end of fall camp. Brennan doesn't have any eligibility left. He cant transfer into a program Sept 1 and play. You have 5 years to play 4. With the covid year you have 6 years to play 5. If he wants to transfer he wont be able to be enrolled in school. He'd have to sit out both the athletic and academic calendar. Somebody correct me if I am wrong.....

He was in the transfer portal a few months ago. I’m guessing he can transfer before fall. If he gets the impression he’s being passed up, I imagine he’ll want to transfer again. Not sure the coaches would put him in a bad situation unless they legitimately didn’t know who was going to start before fall. Which is possible. So if that happens, Brennan will have to make the decision to continue to battle or go somewhere he’s all but guaranteed to start.
Also, hopefully Brennan is ready to go this spring or he will be passed up imo. Too much competition here.

If Brennan isn't the clear cut starter at the end of the spring, it would be in his best interest to transfer. He's out of time if he wants to have a season as a starting quarterback and show the NFL what he can do.
It wouldn't surprise me in the least if he transferred, nor would I blame him. He has the most to lose of all the quarterbacks in the derby.
