TEXAS A&M versus MISSOURI. Who to pull for here depends on the winner of the iron bowl (and the iron bowl is first). If Auburn pulls off the upset, we need A&M to win to force a 3-way tie in the SEC West – this sending LSU to the SECCG. If Bama wins, then they clinch the SECW – in which case we would want A&M to lose to make sure they don’t get selected for a BCS bowl.

The most likely scenario is Bama and A&M winning big and the ratings watchers choose A&M and their superhero over a sagging LSU team.

GEORGIA TECH over Florida State in the ACC Championship Game. We can't take the chance for a 1-loss ACC Champ FSU who just beat Florida to jump us.....so we need GT to beat them.

Next week (pending this weeks results): Kansas over KSU, Ga Tech over FSU, UCLA over Oregon?, LSU over Georgia

One correction: Kansas st plays Texas next week, we need Texas to win

I need to geaux back to the sticky and be sure I understood what it is about . After what this team has been through and has done , all I care about is a bowl game and a Bowl WIN . 3-0 will be just fine to me . Now what do you think ??

What's the details on how the Rose Bowl would ignore the Pac12 v. Big Ten matchup and choose an SEC team? Does the Pac12 Champion have to be in the championship game to make this a reality?

ya we'd need Oregon to be in the NCG to have a chance at the rose because the b1g 10 champ and pac 12 champ are tied into the rose like the sec is tied into the sugar. The big 10 has no chance of putting a team into the NCG so we need a pac 12 team to be in the big game if we want to go to the rose.

If, somehow, someway, all of these outcomes actually happened, words couldn't even describe....

That's an understatement. Regardless, I'm proud of these Tigers. We had a tougher road than the great majority of other college teams. Certainly tougher than Bama's this year. No excuses though. We let our game with them get away. Regardless, it was a great season. For me, there's a certain sense of what could have been. But a greater sense of pride.

We'll also need Stanford to lose to UCLA. If they finish 10-2, the Rose Bowl will select them instead.

Why is an A&M win necessary? Wouldn't an Alabama loss put us in the SEC championship outright? Because we would have the better SEC West record and we beat A&M, therefore we should go right?

If aTm loses, we will in a two way tie with Alabama, and they beat us outright.
