Don’t you know that you can’t tell those xbox/playstation/travel ball coaches anything? They know better tnan anyone else when it comes to sports.

Yeah. The previous inning should have been a clue she was gassed

So, anytime a pitcher has ever gotten to 200 pitches, they should have been pulled?

She wasn't gassed at 198, or 183? It was that 200th one that got her?

No but it look at her and you could tell she was spent. She gave all she could but was done. Her coach should know that.

This thread didn’t go how OP wanted. Wanted to bad to blame coaching (as per usual on the rant) and OP has no clue wtf he’s talking about.

I don't get this. Maybe I just don't understand softball, but I know on my baseball team, I want every player to be able to lay down a sac bunt. So much so that we work on it in practice at least once each week.

If I've got speed at third with less than two outs and need one run to win or tie to keep the game going, I'm going to have someone lay a bunt down. Don't care if they're leading the team in homers.

it's a basic skill that obviously a lot of big time coaches don't care about these days.

Ok, that's all I was saying is that your argument has been that she was gassed. Your title just says 200 pitches. That was my point that you said was the dumbest thing you ever heard.

Yep. Exactly why I don't make proclamations about things I don't know shite about. Just like softball. Never played fast pitch softball, kid never played and I usually only watch postseason.

Oh, I agree. Just isn't something that happens past high school and in some high schools anymore. All about trying for the big hit, so small ball falls by the side.

It was painfully obvious that Doyle was not ready or prepared to bunt, she lunged the bat at a rise ball and popped it up. Wring decision in this case and she should have let her swing.

It was a hell of a game and she did look to be a bit tired. But, I just don't know if it was the 200th pitch that put her over the top. I did pick up on the fact that Torina didn't want to goto Walljasper in this game because they have to play another tonight.

Eta: only had to play another if LSU loses.

Hoover did everything she could despite being off. If you watched the game, you would see her defense cost her 2 runs! Never should have went to extras
