I would say every player on our team needs refining to some point. We are a young team with a lot of growing to do. That doesn’t mean they aren’t good now though, I expect Murray would naturally refine himself to a point just with experience with the team and Wade doesn’t just sit on his thumbs, he makes these kids better.

I had no idea how important he is to this team until he missed the Auburn game. I have heard WW say in small groups that Murray is always where he needs to be on the court. Quiet, but effective player.

Team doesn’t win w offense. Our strengths are what they are . Our players are what they are. O
will always be a by product of our D. It’s going to be different guys every night. Our half court O will always be secondary to what we hope to get in transition. It’s just who we are this year.

Brandon Murray is probably the most natural scorer on the team. Him and Miller are going to be lethal next year

Eventually shots will start falling for Days, so that will help the offense tremendously.
I also agree with the sentiment that Murray will continue to improve, and I think Justice will develop as more of a scoring threat when he gets comfortable.

No three shooters, No guards means we can't play with the big boys !

They just beat Kentucky. Is this team perfect? No. But “not being able to play with the big boys” is a fricking hilarious statement.

We did have a closed scrimmage against Baylor. I know it was early in the year - but you think Baylor wasn't trying? I think by now everyone knows what the outcome of that scrimmage was.
I ain't saying it means we're a Final Four team because of that. But I've seen enough to know this team plays as hard for 40 minutes every game as any LSU basketball team I've ever seen and I think even most of the doubters now have to admit we're elite defensively.
That will allow us to compete with anyone and if we can find something on offense, and I don't think we can dismiss we have the possibility of improving there as the year goes.....look out.
I can remember turnovers by guards being a bid deal around this time last year. We got that under control and improved it and were playing our best ball by the end of the year.

It's a team effort fellas.
Defense creates offense let's ride!!!

I think Adam Miller got hurt during the scrimmage on 10/19, which the consensus says was Baylor, since his injury was announced on 10/20. No one has publicly said how well he did during that game, so that puts into question how well we’ll matchup against Baylor if we play them again.

41.4% from 3 combined vs Kentucky and Tennessee, two of the better defenses in the country.

Actually, the scrimmage with Baylor was after our game against Nichols and Miller did not play in it. It's pretty well known by now we won by 6.

You're forgetting about Wilk. Wilk is a really good spot up shooter from Deep.

Mwani understands his limitations and doesn't care how much he scores, he just wants to win. He just shoots that corner 3 and only when it's catch and shoot and wide open...not step backs or crossover dribble 3's. And he has the best percentage on the team.

Reid is a rapidly improving center who will get this by season end.
he's done the opposite of that actually.
He's looked lost out there now that SEC play has started. He can't stay on the court b/c of foul trouble, and he's 3-14 from the field, with most of them terrible hook shots from way too far out b/c he's not playing strong enough to get better position. He needs to learn how to use his body more and get better post positioning, and that shouldn't be hard for him to do b/c he has the physical ability to do it already.
