Probably doesn't need to be a set tradition, but with Peterson and Mathieu wearing it, it might be a desirable number for future DB's.

Except other great Tigers have worn it with very little contiguity

I understand that point. But, something as simple as wearing the #7 as a Db at LSU could become a selling point to future recruits.

Agreed. TM7 absolutely farked up off the field, no doubt. But he was a damn good play maker on the field. Everyone seems to focus more on his fricking up than his breif career at LSU.

Give #7 to the incoming freshman, trindon holliday 2.0, and potential future star of this team, Jeryl Brazil.

Dbu and the #7 may be something the recruits and current db's want to protect.

Funny that the first person it was passed down to didn't want to protect it at all.

The # couldn't survive being passed down once...ONCE!!
Let it die, ffs.

#7- Micah Eugene
#18- I like Blue. Also like Kwon, and Loston. He will be the senior leader on the team that overcame a bunch of injuries.
