Honestly probably Les Miles until we could find a true long term successor.

Recent polling data favors Justin Wilson for the job.

All I know is that Orgeron should never have been hired.
If the question was Orgeron or the field, I take the field.

That's not a horrible comparison because you're right.
However, it become less of a good comparison when you consider this is comparing a pro sport to a college sport. The long "con", so to speak, is much more viable in the pro world. However to appease you, I think it became painfully clear that what Hinch was lacking in Arizona was a plan like Luhnow had for the franchise. Unlike LSU, the Astros organizational plan came from Luhnow not Hinch.
At LSU our plan comes from O and it was to hire the best coordinators, "one team one heartbeat", and a binder.
All that said I was pretty much on the same wavelength when Hinch was hired....when he took the team to the playoffs in 2015 I was in.
If O wins anything and his plan doesn't blow up (which we already seen sparks of today) I can be on his side.
ETA I decided to elaborate more. I think that if O could have just stayed off of Canada for the Troy game and let the year play out we would be fine. We wouldn't be talking about replacing Canada. Canada would probably be fairly happy, O would be happy, and fans would be fairly happy (most of them). When O didn't do what he said he would do (keep his hands off the offense) in the Troy game....it pissed off Canada, pissed off fans, etc. I mean it is O totally pissing on what he told us.....which I believe is basically what got Miles fired in 2016 (not changing the O when he said he would).

Someone after an actual search for a coach is performed in which only top coordinators from top schools and winning head coaches with a proven track record of success are in the talent pool.

Coach O if he hires Steve Ensminger will have lied on his resume that consisted of a losing record and a fricking binder that said he would only hire the best.
If he does that he should be terminated

Well orgeron is 21-7 in the past decade as head coach

if you look at Coach O's record at LSU and USC he has a winning record. but if you're too stupid to see that then your just just an idiot and like to complain about anything just to be heard.

I don’t know. But you should definitely coach the cheerleaders.
Well answer the question.........

It doesn't matter who the coach is. 40% will hate him anyway

We just don’t think a coach with a losing record as a head coach and very little experience being a head coach should be the guy LSU hires. Let him earn that shite before we just give it to him. That goes for anybody we hire as coach. O didn’t earn it.
But its too late to say this... Do YOU want him fired????

Coach O. He turned the team around and he has my support.
Doesn’t mean I have to eat the O dick nor does it mean I have to accept the seemingly sinking ship.
With that said; he better make a splash hire at OC. I won’t be the only one turning my back on him if he doesn’t.

shut up grandpa. you and that idiot tiger ree are the biggest sunshine pumpers for O on this board

all of this negative shite accomplishes nothing except turn off many LSU fans and possibly recruits.
This attitude of blindly supporting whoever is in charge is such bullshite.
There is nothing wrong with expecting your program to go out and get the best of the best and pay whatever is necessary if your program wants to be a top program.
We settled for O because he was the easy hire and was cheap. King and Aleva are worried about throwing money around when the state is in a budget crisis even though the football program is self funded. They are more worried about optics than they are worried about wins.

Anyone’s more qualified then what LSU hired.

Lol with your flair I'm surprised you have to ask. people were calling out the astros for hiring a underqualified coach with a bad record all last year. Guess what, they won the world series with that same coach
You’re full of shite. I live here. The pressure was squarely on Jeff Luhnow the GM. We had faith because of where he came from. Can’t say the same about Smith for the Texans though. Sam Montgomery was an example of hownshitty if a GN he is.
