all of you that hate coach O so much. if we took your suggestion and fire him after the bowl game who should (and could) be hire. also, how much would you be willing for LSU to pay? should LSU go over 7 million and a guaranteed 10 year deal?
should we hire Gundy, Fedora, the WV guy, the Minnesota guy, etc?
all of this negative shite accomplishes nothing except turn off many LSU fans and possibly recruits.

Th question isn't who should have been hired, it's how far down the white board should any Power 5 conference program have gotten before you'd come across the name Ed Oregeron as a potential hire? Acting as if he should have been 3rd on our wish list is abhorrent.
Honestly...ANYONE above him on that long and distinguished list would have been a better hire, and you would not have had to get all that far before interest met opportunity.

We don’t hate O. We just don’t think a coach with a losing record as a head coach and very little experience being a head coach should be the guy LSU hires. Let him earn that shite before we just give it to him. That goes for anybody we hire as coach. O didn’t earn it.

Whatever it takes to get the best coach available.
We've always said that money is no object when it comes to coaches....if that is the case then do it. I think Alleva isn't that way or Jimbo would be the coach now. That's one reason I think Alleva should have been fired at latest by yesterday.
At this point I'm not sure who I'd hire....I bet there are more people than we are willing to admit that would at least listen to LSU for the amount of money that Jimbo got.

If what is going on with O and Canada doesn't turn off recruits then I'm pretty sure what we are talking about here won't effect them.....it's not like we are talking negatively about specific recruits.
At this point LSU needs to do whatever it takes to remain in the top echelon of college football programs.....the bottom line is for that equation to work you have to remove Ed Orgeron from it.

Lol with your flair I'm surprised you have to ask. people were calling out the astros for hiring a underqualified coach with a bad record all last year. Guess what, they won the world series with that same coach
