Tim Tadlock. Yeah, I get that he’s a Texas Tech alumnus. I still think he’s the caliber of coach where you have to at least make him say “no” as a matter of due diligence.

Unfortunately, I have no names but would like to see Scott go after a manager in the minor or coach in the major leagues. Need a guy who can manage a ball club.

I'm hoping by the time it's time to find a new coach, Deggs will be the clear cut #1 choice.

I doubt PM is gone after this year but i think if he underperforms next year he’s done and I don’t think Deggs will have ULL rolling by then

Can't disagree with any of that. Honestly, I would take Deggs (if we couldn't convince the big time guys to come) after this year. It would come with hatred on here though, because they will only see his record at ULL this year. I don't think Mainieri is gone after this year though.
I also agree with the statement of him being gone next year, if things don't work out. My best case scenario is Mainieri hangs it up in 3-4 years, and by that time Deggs will have had the time and we will know if he is trending up with ULL. If he is, that's my guy.

Auburn lost last night. And UGA is losing 3-0 in the 6th to Santa Clara. I wonder if they will also be looking for coaches after the weekend. Might be a lot of movement in the coaching circles before March.
