Need someone as HC that isn't the grass is always greener elsewhere persona. Kiffin is a huge Smokescreen. He's neither the choice or answer for long-term stability at LSU in a future expanded SEC.

He’s moved for better jobs and opportunities. Where is there to go up to from HC at LSU?

I actually agree with you as long as he makes the right DC hire. His offense would be damn near unstoppable with Louisiana’s fertile recruiting grounds supplying the talent. I truly believe with the right DC hire he quite possibly could accomplish what Saban has at Alabama. He does come with some risk but I think it would payoff with quite a few National Championships!

Exactly. If he ultimately wants another crack at the NFL one day, he can get there from Ole Miss.

If he comes to LSU, it'll be with the intention of staying long-term.

Why did LSU and Alabama want to hire a coach with a wandering eye named Saban? Three or four years was his shelf life.

Do you really want a coach who only cares about offense, and really nothing else about the team ? You can look at all these offensive genius coaches , and see how their defense is none factor . There are coaches out there that care about both , O is 1 of them but can’t hire the right coordinators.

I think every coach cares about both sides. I dont know any who can effectively coach both sides.

Isn’t Lane Kiffin similar to that young Arizona cardinal head coach ? Big players on campus.

Back to the NFL would be the only place.

He may get a 2nd chance with Kingsbury doing well in Arizona.
