Who is to blame for the current state of the basketball program?

Just wanting people to go on record where they stand. Myself I liked Wade but make no mistake he is 100% responsible for what the LSU fans are about to endure.

Will Wade is 100% responsible for the last five seasons of winning basketball

WW is responsible for how we got here and where we are headed!

What do you get out of putting blame on someone

I agree 100%, and he is responsible for the probation and loss recruits who were committed to LSU

Scott Woodward assuming you are asking about why we will not win anything for the next 5-7 years.

Wish we could’ve kept him but totally understand why he was fired.
Wade’s allure was the hype he created for the program. Hope Woodward finds someone like him but maybe a little more discrete

WW is the one who is responsible for setting our program back the next few years. Next few years will be very ugly for us.

And for being a national laughing stock.

Joe Alleva. Should have stayed with his gut and fired WW years ago when this surfaced. Probably be free and clear by now. Probation during covid would not have been that bad.

What a shallow brained punk. He destroyed the program and you worship him. Says everything about you.

This might be the most real post in this thread. You have just summed up the entire fricked up mind set of this generation. Absolutely no accountability. It is unbelievable.

Being that Will Wade was hired by Aleva and his shenanigans were done under Aleva’s watch then the two men responsible are Joe Aleva & Will Wade.
Scott Woodward inherited this fiasco and honestly was hired to clean up the entire Athletic Department. Do not think that the big money Woodward is spending did not come with instructions for what Woodward was expected to do at LSU.
LSU has spent 3 million to get rid of Maineri and several million more to hire Jay Johnson and his staff.
LSU spent 2 1/2 million to hire Kim Mulkey after firing her predecessor.
LSU spent 26 1/2 million to fire Ed Orgeron and his staff and then spent 100 million to hire Brian Kelly and millions more to hire Kelly’s Staff.
Now Will Wade is fired and has to be replaced.
Throw in 26 million to rebuild the Football Dressing Room and LSU is spending tons of money to get things going in the right direction.
Aleva presided over an Athletic Department which was full of do-nothings and rats and most of them were fired as well including the Strength and Conditioning Staff and most of the Support Staff.
Woodward inherited a disaster and is doing a good job fixing what he needs to fix. Blame Aleva for the overall situation and Will Wade for the Basketball screw ups.

We are literally going back to Johnny Jones days when it comes to wins and losses. So, we had 5 fun seasons of good basketball and we will return to where we were pre Wade.

Will Wade 100 percent.
End of conversation.

Split between Scotty and Wade.
Wade for being sloppy about it. So 50 percent
Scott for firing over allegations instead of at least waiting for a ruling. The firing of wade and silly letter admitting guilt was bad. History shows you fight and stonewall not just admit to things.
Scott further made it worse by having the team find out through Twitter instead of telling them face to face. No one can blame any kid transferring when the admin treats you as a third class
It’s shortsighted to not blame wade at all but it’s also short sighted to not at least put some on Scott/Tate for the quick trigger and bad timing and operations management
