Greg Cook

I remember reading somewhere where Rudy Macklin was joking about that had Greg Cook been on the court when Michael Jordan went after John Tudor in retaliation for breaking Kenny Smith's wrist, NBA history could have turned out a whole lot different.

That's the guy who tried in vain to teach Shaq how to shoot FTs, no?

Vernell Singleton. He was overshadowed by plenty of bigger name players in his time but was consistent and always clutch.

Bandaid and all.

Vernell Singleton, Kenny Higgs.

Higgs is LSU's all time leader in assists whether it be by sheer volume or average per game and is LSU's 7th all time leading scorer.

When he finished his career his assist total was then an SEC record in an era where kids all still played 4 years.

José Vargas. My man. His feet didn’t always cooperate. Love to watch him play.

I don't know that Derrick Taylor was under rated. He was one of the best point guards in the SEC at that time. I think Vernell Singleton is a good candidate.

When I read the subject, Vernel was the first person who came to my mind.
