Johnny Robinson/guy should have been in the NFL HOF way before his recent induction.

Who is the best safety to play for LSU?

All pro Jerry Stovall
Jerry-Heisman runner-up and all pro safety says Hello. Johnny Rob was no slouch either.

LaRon was a beast. I shook his hand once and I swear his grip nearly broke my hand.

Casanova and since this is Ole Miss week.
Casanova’s brilliance was on display once again in a 61-17 rout of Ole Miss that clinched the Tigers’ first SEC championship since 1961. Casanova had nine tackles, an interception, a pass deflection and returned three punts, two for touchdowns covering 61 and 74 yards.

Imagine posting on this site and not understanding the Jack Hunt Bluegrass Miracle reference. And then caring so much that you went to find images to support your position.

Casanova, Delpit, Hobley and Adams were the best, followed closely by Reid, imo.
Hobley got on drugs, which ruined his pro career, but my gosh, he was dominant in college.

We have had some great ones. I glanced through this thread and was a little disappointed I did not see one mention of Chris Williams. I saw him play in high school. He was a tailback at Tioga. He played in the late seventies and is the LSU all time leader in interceptions with 20. He was also a great punt returner.

Media and players who skip them say bowls don't matter but that play when Adams hauls arse across the field to tackle the Heisman winner Lamar Jackson in the Capitol One Bowl was seriously epic. Crazy speed!

Joe Burrow. The answer to any question that begins with "Who was the best LSU _______?" is ALWAYS Joe Burrow. I don't care if it's asking about a janitor. Joe. Frickin'. Burrow.
After Joe Burrow, the correct answer is Eric Reid followed by Grant Delpit.
