I looked on Louisville’s baseball forum. They are worried he’s going to take the LSU job. One factor they cite is the violence and protests in Louisville. They started comparing crime in Louisville and Baton Rouge.

Local crime rates are pretty much irrelevant in these decisions when you’re getting paid millions.

They were more concerned with rioting and protests in Louisville than run of the mill crime which every city has.
