Face it, we have no "forever" rival like the barners and the gumps.

We do have several schools where the blood is pretty bad, and that's okay.

But not every school is going to have a permanent rival.

I'd be thrilled if LSU-Tulane were on par with Barners-Gumps. It would be great for the state. But unfortunately the Weenies didn't hold up their part of the bargain, and they are not even relevant now.

Our biggest rival is the team we complain about the most and the only team that can beat us!

...LSU! We are our own biggest rival.

AU/UF with Bama as a darkhorse. Usually determines our season. Bama would be considered but we only lost to them 3 times in the first decade of this century.

This is a mixed bag. It depends on the fan being questioned. I agree that if the question is being asked, there is no natural rival such Bama/Auburn. My son and I have different opinions on this question. When I became an LSU fan before some of you were born, it was Ole Miss, however to be a rival, you must win more than they have. In my opinion Bama is the team that LSU can lose to and it will bother me until the next season. Not as much because of Saban as it is their fan base. I still say they are the most delusional fan base in college football.
