Yep, and I hope he’s in Omaha watching.

I wouldn't mind a couple of the Murray St. guys. If I remember correctly, the CF was legit.

Dardar already signed with us.

Yes, I know. Still hope he’s in Omaha watching. You know, goals? Motivation? Learning the team? Esprit de corps

Pretty sure he's playing in a summer league right now.

We had a down year after a natty and were still an out away from hosting a super.
Dude has won everywhere he's been. I don't think it's possible to win 5 in 10 years anymore like Bertman did. There are too many other good programs and the format is more difficult (other than for the 2000 natty).

Just wondering if anyone heard anything about teams that are out is all
Weird indirect way to ask if Jay is looking at any of the Arizona guys?

my post was tongue in cheek but I think this coach is among the first to master/balance NIL, transfer portal, and keeping them corchedup

Arizona’s Freshman pitcher that started yesterday would be a nice pickup.

I think he's a super senior. I wanted him too after watching their super and went look only to be disappointed

Go to the recruiting forum and look for the stickied baseball recruiting thread, and find anything Project P talks about, he’s got probably the best pulse about what CJJ and staff are doing in the portal that I can find.

Easton Hawk from UCLA. If he isn't trying, he should be.

Morrison can win a natty at Coastal but he can’t get a fat payday
Also, I have it on good authority that Roch Cholowsky hates playing in front of 700 fans in cold arse big 10 games for a program that doesn’t even have enough support to buy 1000 Jell-O shots in Omaha

You have to at least try to get the SS from UCLA

did see a bunch of ECU fans talking about this on social media the other day and some of them were saying LSU was the school Godwin was referencing. Said LSU contacted Austin Irby. Even the ECU fans said Godwin needed to show proof though
These things have already been talked about for every sport. Those "agents" call school reps and get them to start bidding, then they tell the players. Coaches really don't even have to get involved, but coaches like Jay probably do once an agent or player shows interest. Whether or not coaches start just cold calling prospects they might be interested in? I don't know, but there are about a dozen ways to get players talking to other programs before they enter the portal and most of them don't involve a coach for another school initiating contact. That goes for every school.

The second I see one of the losers on here calling Jay Johnson “Jay Orgeron”….i immediately picture a zit faced weirdo drooling on a keyboard and yelling at his mom for meatloaf.
It’s one of the dumbest, most ridiculous sports narratives I’ve seen on the Rant(and boy, there have been some doozies)
