With fall camp winding down and prep for FSU starting, the depth charts are probably most likely set by now. Who is a player y’all are surprised hasn’t made a higher move up the depth chart by now?
For me it’s def laterrance welch. He had a strong spring and summer and I really thought it would lead to him locking down a Cb job in a wide open competition.

With the recent production in Saturdays scrimmage I’m surprised Kaleb Jackson isn’t RB1

Maason Smith. Been over a year and still not a starter.

Jones must be very good. Recruited at edge, but now at 280lbs looks like a beast. dude gained like 40lbs since his recruitment.

John Emery definitely hasn't had the career most anticipated.
Peyton Todd is another I expected to have locked up his position by now.

Matthew Langlois
Is he 2nd team?
Pimpton
Figured he would be #2 behind Taylor

He’s raw and skinny. That kid was never going to get tons of PT as a true frosh. He might be a superstar by junior year though.

He might lead the team in td receptions this yr. He's 6'6 235 and adding weight. He seems to be denbrocks favorite fr. He'll be used heavily in passing downs and red zone packages

You must not be reading much because according to Denbrock, he’s going to find anyway he can to get pimpton on that field this year due to how great he has looked throughout practice and in scrimmages.
The guy has been a nightmare for LSUs DBs since he stepped on the practice field.

Welch, I expected him to be one of the two starting Corners this year. I also thought Toviano was going to be one of the starting safeties but Sam has that locked down right now.

quote:not that surprising. He was recruited based off his physical traits and potential to develop, not his raw skill. Hopefully he’s developed enough to get some decent playing time.
