Im pretty sure a slow white guy who was 5'9" tall wouldn't have made the team. So I'm out.

I would have made the team if LSU routinely played in the snow.

Had a couple of small D1 universities interested after my junior year, but due to a shitty attitude and dislike of authority, I was kicked off the team prior to the start of my senior season. I've matured a great deal over the last decade, and consider this the worst mistake I've ever made

I was slow. But my father was offered a scholarship by Tulane when he was in the 10th grade. He quit school a few months later. Younger brother is a beast, Coach Hudspeth eyes lit up when he seen him.

Personally, I have always believed if I had started football early and worked really hard I might have been good enough to not be the worst guy on the field at any given time, but that's just a maybe. Average speed and skinny (back in high school, slow and fat now) is not a good combination for football.

Now baseball, well lets just say that the only thing that kept me out of the majors was talent.

I know I could have but I had a strong sense of duty to my country so I joined the Army straight out of hs. There is not a doubt in my mind that if I wanted to play football instead I could have made the team.

ETA: this was just a poor troll attempt

Actually walked on back in the day. Went thru spring practice then ended up not making the grades to stay at LSU. I was more of the Rudy type, small and slow. Was fun while it lasted.

6'1'', not very fast.. 4.75 is the best time I ever ran. I started out playing receiver, but had been switched over to safety for my senior year when the shite that got me kicked off the team happened..

I was getting a lot of interest from them until I blew out my knee my senior year. Couldnt play football again.

Was a baseball walk on at LSU, and I always thought I was a better football player than a baseball player. In general, I think it's an easier sport. Not that I would have been welcome, but the guys that I would have been trying to get playing time from in my day were the "Soul Patrol," so, it wasn't happening for me. Wouldn't change much though.

Not this guy. I probably could have walked on in baseball, but I injured my shoulder late in high school and cashed out. Basically, I was a versatile utility guy, but I didn't hit for much power.... I could be a first base coach by now.
