Jim Wells is a legend. Bama was in Omaha in 1996 and the CWS finals in 1997. What a turnaround!

I’m gonna go w Mizzou. Can’t believe they haven’t won a single game in conference.

Sometimes the bats go completely ice cold. Thankfully, that's only happened to us in 1 SEC series.

And we were still one hit away from winning game 3

There is sucking like state and the fighting PMs but this is on a whole different level. You have to try really hard to be this bad.

Mizzou is down so bad they had a kid we cut loose in the last recruiting class starting their opening game against Florida.

They've had some injuries, but damn they really only have 1 or 2 guys that would play consistently on other SEC teams.

Kerrick Jackson is actually a good coach, despite what's showing. He's got such an uphill climb at Mizzou though.

From a recruiting standpoint, all of the areas they should be able to get the best guys from are being raided by better programs. Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Tennessee have a better handle on the prime Mizzou recruiting areas. LSU has had more success in the Kansas City area than Mizzou has.

And they can't even do a short term bump with JUCO guys because Kansas is right there and recruiting JUCOs better than almost anyone. And on the other side of the state, Western Kentucky is taking a lot of top JUCO talent since they hired the coach from Wabash Valley and he hired another big time JUCO coach as his recruiting coordinator.

They can't work the portal because they have no money to give guys.

If a player is any good around them, but doesn't want to get their teeth kicked in in the SEC while dealing absolute shite facilities, they can just go to K-State, Nebraska, or even Missouri State, which has been a consistently better program over their history.

Mizzou at 0-21 is most impressive. Hard to imagine being so bad that you can't just accidentally score enough runs to win a few baseball games.

exactly.

Baseball is a funny sport like that.
bad teams beat good teams way more often in Baseball than any other sport.

you have to be comically bad to not frick up and win once.

Mizzou has been run ruled swept twice in their last 3 series, by Ar-Kansas and Oklahoma. That's pathetic. I almost feel sorry for them.

I think we are better than our record indicates. Just a good team without star power.

Defense and pitching have been solid.

Carolina managing to win 5 games with CPM is kinda impressive.

10 teams between 10 and 14 wins. That’s unreal too.

helps that Mizzou isn't winning any games
