Texas at 19-2 or Missouri at 0-21?

It’s honestly pretty close for me. There are so many teams in between. 10 teams between 10 and 14 wins. That’s unreal too.

Standings:

No. 1 Texas 19 – 2
No. 5 Arkansas 14 – 7
No. 7 LSU 14 – 7
No. 6 Tennessee 13 – 8
No. 18 Alabama 12 – 9
No. 10 Georgia 12 – 9
No. 23 Ole Miss 12 – 9
No. 9 Vanderbilt 12 – 9
No. 14 Oklahoma 11 – 10
No. 11 Auburn 11 – 10
Kentucky 10 – 11
Florida 8 – 13
Texas A&M 8 – 13
Mississippi State 7 – 14
South Carolina 5 – 16
Missouri 0 – 21

What's the worst SEC record a team has ever had? Surely 0-30 has never been done before.

LSU dominated Texas like no other 8 - 2 on that Friday Night in Austin.
That Tiger team is as good as any!

Gotta go with Mizzou's 0- 21. That's impressive!

Who else gave the Bonghorns a loss? I know LSU beat them as you mentioned. Who else beat the horns?

Kentucky. In a 15 inning game.

Sure it did. Texas is the only team to not lose a series.

Sometimes the bats go completely ice cold. Thankfully, that's only happened to us in 1 SEC series.

I think Bama at 4-22 in 1994 is the worst

No team has won fewer than 5 games since the SEC startedd playing 30 and no team all the way back to 1977 has won fewer than 4.

The only team to win fewer than 6 games during the 30-game era were Georgia in 2010, though they only played 28 games for some reason that year, so they were 5-23, and Bama in 2017, who were 5-24-1. That means with 4 more losses, MIzzou will have the highest number of conference losses since at 1977 @ 25.

On the winning side, Vandy in 2013 was 26-3, the highest number of wins in conference play. Texas can lose 1 more to surpass that winning total, though they will have played one more game. 2 losses will tie the win total but be 1 more conference loss.

The possibilities assume they play every game. I'd say Mizzou is more likely to break that record, and that it is impressive that they are this close this early in the season. But winning is always more impressive in my mind.

19-2 is pretty incredible, it's not that hard to suck.

There is sucking like state and the fighting PMs but this is on a whole different level. You have to try really hard to be this bad.
