Big Herm holds a state record (I think) for being born with the biggest heart ever....

I agree he tried to catch and tackle Darryl Gamble after the Lee interception.

I know he took some heat for missing tackles against Georgia, but Coleman plays all out every play. He lays the lumber on whoever has the ball.

Thats the thing though, Scott gets touches. How touches does Byrd get? He could easily get frustrated, but he doesn't. He plays hard and makes the most of opportunities.

How who's out there blocking for Scott when he gets into the secondary?

I would guess Big Herman. Herm probably has the most of everything on that team. He is a big brotha.

I don't know if he has more heart, but you can help but notice how Beckwith damn near ran down mareno from behind.

I know I'll get crucified for saying this, but Jai Eugene and Parick Peterson are giving it all they got. Against Georgia both of them were always getting the crowd into it and you could tell they wanted to always make a play. They never stopped.

I don't see why you would get crucified, I noticed this too especially Peterson.

Byrd should have "laid out" for that pass that Hatch barely overthrew in the S.C. game. Sure, he has heart but he didn't show it on that play.
