It should have a termination clause stating if you can't win at least 70% of the games against in state schools during the term of the contract then it would be grounds for not extending the contract.

Yeah man fire the guy that just took us to the CWS finals and has had half his starters in the lineup and a couple key arms injured. Just can his arse and get that other guy that has 5 national seeds in a row and always has his team set up to make a run when it matters.

I hate losing to in state schools as well as everyone else but come on. This happens every year unfortunately. This is baseball, not football.

This happens every fricking year. I’m tired of seeing so many people get worked up over this. It’s baseball, you lose games, a good bit of games. These in state schools want to beat LSU and play their best because they’re playing LSU. We have injuries and an inexperienced team. It doesn’t matter that much if we lose a few midweek games to in state schools because guess what, we’ll be the only team in Louisiana playing after the first week of June. Chill tf out please

So O should be fired if he loses to LA Tech the week after going to Auburn this year, right?

Let me explain something to you when it comes to our baseball fans. Pulmonary is in a cant lose situation according to 99% of our retarted baseball fanbase and I’ll tell you why. If we lose the fans say the game doesn’t matter, it’s a meaningless mid week game or the SEC season is long so those losses don’t mean anything. If we choke in the post season their excuse is “why are you complaining we made to a (regional, CWS etc)”. But if we win a game nomatter when it is it’s a big win for the Tigers. So in the Rants collective minds we can’t lose it’s always a win win for CPM. By comparison it’s like if Bama fans would say as long as Saban makes a bowl game there’s nothing to complain about and you just don’t understand football if you do.

Skip lost midweek games. The important games are on the weekend.

Right on cue. Btw Skip won 5 national titles CPM won’t ever sniff 3 so don’t compare what we have now to Skip. And of those important weekend games you mentioned we just lost 2 of 3 this past weekend. But hey I know the drill losses don’t matter around here there’s a built in and rehearsed excuse for every one of them.

And you sound like a retard with practiced insults. Nothing I said was inflammatory or emotional in nature so your temper tantrum comment is unwarranted and just plain stupid. Upvoting yourself was also a clear indicator that you’re not all there and pure class I’m sure lol.

That’s off topic but it’s another phony excuse so I’ll play along... Actually there’s been 14 South Carolina, Oregon State and Texas have all won 2 each in that time frame with Oregon State and South Carolina each going back to back. Now although Texas is a blue blood they haven’t been a great program during this era and the other 2 schools are nowhere near the level of LSU. So this tells you that when these other guys have the rosters capable of winning big they do it and the fact that lesser teams have gone back to back twice dismisses this LSU fan theory that it’s impossible to win big consistently. CPM has had at least 3 teams who were unquestionably the most talented in the country and choked those chances away. And it wasn’t attrition luck or fluke situations that caused those failures, it was mistakes, bizarre and panicked coaching decisions. But that’s not the point I was making, I was making fun of how with any loss the majority of the Rant excuses it away by saying somehow the loss never really matters and when it happens in the post season we should expect it. But if we win, nomatter if it’s a mid week game it all of the sudden means more. It the typical double standard hedging the Rant does with the baseball team and CPM every year. It’s both funny and sad at the same time.

Guy played for a NC last year and you want to run him? I’m not his biggest fan but who are you going to get that runs the program better than he does? Remember who is doing the hiring.

Pulmonary is the Bobby Cox of college baseball. Been that way for a longtime and it will always be that way.
