People think they send Southern to LSU every time but that's not the case.
Since the new regional format started in 1999 Southern's been to LSU 3 times (99, 02, 09) and they've been to Tulane in 01 and 05 and Southern Miss in 03.
There's a good chance Southern gets sent to a Mississippi regional considering their coach has asked to be sent somewhere else.
