The Tiger in me says LSU v Texas, but we all know the weird love fest for OSU and Oregon is building a monster on defense and will have a very good team this year even without Hebert. I feel like it's a coin toss at the moment.

Let's see what Brennen does week 1. If he goes off and throws for 350 yards and 4 tds, give me LSU v Texas.

God football cannot get here soon enough.

We will. LSU is the National Champs.
The media will hype it as a revenge game.
It could be the 2 highest ranked teams of the 3 games.

Are you sure Texas will actually be ranked higher than Oregon? Bc I don’t see it that way at all

I'm not sure if the Oregon governor would even allow gameday to be there since they already said no fans at sporting events through September. But who knows with Louisiana

In a non covid world, probably OSU-Oregon because they’re already planning to be here for the Bama game.

tOSU/Oregon will probably be Fox prime time and have the fox crew so I imagine ESPN would come to BR.

Doesn't Gameday prefer to avoid going to the same location multiple times in a season?

If that is the case, and assuming COVID doesn't effect anything, I think they would go to Oregon. It will be the biggest game that will be played at Oregon, and Gameday knows LSU-Bama in BR is looming on the schedule to come down for that.

ESPN does have the rights to a few PAC 12 games a year. Not sure how it’s decided. I think CBS doesn’t start getting the rights until week 3 (might be wrong). With the game being in Oregon, they might get the night game. If ESPN has both, maybe a 6:00 UT/LSU and 9:00 OSU/Oregon.

Texas is going to be MUCH better this season. I see them finished the season in the top 10 with their schedule.

They were ravaged by injuries last year and already had an inexperienced defense. They've continued to have good recruiting classes and got their QB back, who is pretty damn impressive. And they've had some solid coaching hires.

Texas is going to be a very formidable opponent in Death Valley.
