I’ll root for Ms. State. The rest I don’t care. I hope Bama loses

You quite obviously know nothing about the Big 12 and the power hold Texas has over them. Longhorn network instead of the big 12 network is a prime example.

I'm not one of those chicken littles who wants to leave the SEC for the Big XII (Nothing good would come from it, I promise you)

But all the same frick the SEC, every other team can lose every game for all I care

I pull for against other teams based on how it affects LSU. SEC post season wins elevate the perception of .conference strength, which elevates the status of teams that win in that conference. So I pull for the SEC in post season play. Except Bama, screw Bama. And maybe A&M too, this season. And Florida screw them too. What were we talking about again?

Not much different than Bama here except we’re better than Texas. OU doesn’t give a frick about Texas or Longhorn network & we wouldn’t either if we were on our way to the playoffs every other year.

This is the correct answer. It benefits LSU for Vandy, Kentucky, Mizzou, South Carolina and Georgia to win for sure. As much as I hate it, probably Florida too. Some downside to MSU and Allbarn winning, but the conference profile gain is worth whatever negligible recruiting effect.

Bama losing, and losing badly is always good. As someone said "Bama vs icis" ...Texas a & m isn't quite that extreme but them losing helps us.

LSU fans that pull for bama because of conference affiliation make me cringe.

That was a thing after Auburn got screwed in 2004. We needed the conference to look good to overcome big media market bias.

Eventually that bit us with the mulligan in 2011. Now, with a 4-team playoff, there no advantage to the conference looking good. An undefeated SEC champ will always have the opportunity to win or lose on the field.

I’ll pull for Kentucky and Vandy. And probably UGA since we beat them and I hate Texas. That’s it.
