At this point, me. But out of spite to piss off all of these idiots starting their list and making these brainless threads.

Also if he wins out, that means we win a championship. Which was the goal in the first place

Yes, because les has never won in November right? Idiot

November record under Les:

2005: 4-0
2006: 4-0
2007: 3-1
2008: 2-3
2009: 2-2
2010: 3-1
2011: 4-0
2012: 3-1
2013: 2-1
2014: 1-2
2015: 1-3

Total for 11 years: 29-14
Last 10 years: 25-14
Last 9 years: 21-14
Last 8 years: 18-13
Last 7 years: 16-10
Last 6 years: 14-8
Last 5 years: 11-7
Last 4 years: 7-7
Last 3 years: 4-6
Last 2 years: 2-5
Last year: 1-3

Nope, no trend there. Nothing to see here. Move along.

By the way, his career record by months:

Aug/Sept: 44-5
October: 32-9
November 29-14
Dec/Jan: 9-5

Still no discernible pattern whatsoever. Weird. Guess you must be right, then.

The perfect scenario would be a NC and Les retiring a hero.

I fear what will happen is a November that will make me very sad...

We'll probably all be sad together.

He has been pressed to evolve this season. I believe they knew what they had with Etling the whole time. They gave Harris as much of a chance to get right as they could but Tiger Stadium and the negative press was too much.

Had Harris been pulled in Lambeau, we would have won that game and they could have still successfully swapped QBs without making waves. The light seems to have finally come on the offensive staff's room.

If Miles continues win and the offense stays the same as it has for the last 7 quarters, he probably should stay behind the wheel. If we drop 2 more games, it's been a good ride but it's time for a change. A week ago I did think it would be possible but maybe ol' Leslie has a little fight left in him.

Only way he wins out is if he "fixes" everything that is wrong. If he does that & wins it all, then I'd be ecstatic to have him back.

And you think Les Miles would agree to an "extension" that is cancellable with no penalties? That's not an extension, that's a "let's talk later."

I hope the team wins all its remaining games, but I don't think they will. Even if they do, I think Mile's contract is long enough.

Objectively look at this team through 3 games and then honestly ask yourself if you think we will run the table.

Maybe with some luck like Auburn in 2013, LSU could have things bounce the right way and end up in Atlanta. But the way the OL is already beat up and has looked like swiss cheese at times, this doesn't look like a championship team.

Hope I'm wrong and for Les' sake too

I said my goodbye to Les last year after the aTm game.

I stood, clapped and even teered up a bit. Then the powers that be turned that obvious goodbye into a show of support for Les in lieu of the proper send-off for a good man that it was.

The sooner Les is out of here, the better. People have lost faith in him and college is too much of an emotional sport to allow that.

Hate to say it, but I am done with him. Will not bash him or players, but I'm waiting for a change. If it takes too long, I will re-evaluate my season tix.

Les is 63 in two months. His contract goes for three more years. There is no way he should get a guaranteed contract extension. If he wins out we should give him a contract extension that is cancellable, with no penalties, after the current one runs out. This will help with recruiting.
.
Thanks for the tempered, well thought-out response. IMO, you're one of this board's better posters. Logic is solid and you never seem to get so emotional that you make irrational statements.

Post more.

I hope he wins out, I do not know if he even wants an extension. Wouldn't mind if he finished out his career here and retired at the end of this contract.

Back to back NCs wouldn't hurt my feelings either.
