Ford had no wiggle. He was fast and a north south guy. I think he is a fasting Faulk, but let’s see after 4-5 games.

do we have to really compare him to 3 of the best RBs ever?
I think the point was that we're used to bigger backs here, but he's not necessarily too small to be a bell cow. It really comes down to genetics and mental toughness and some luck. Not all 205 lb backs are created equal. Hopefully he proves to be durable because he's obviously very talented.

He ran for 243 yards on 22 caries in the first half of the 6A, Texas state championship game. He's going to be an absolute beast. I've been trying to tell y'all, we have a super talented back. Texas would much rather have Caden the Simon.

Easily Emmitt. Same exact low shifty bounce off tackles.

He reminds me a lot of Domanik Davis in a LSU uniform.
Davis had that little burst, was shorter and fast. And could break a tackle.
Now that you mention it that's a pretty solid comparison

Herbie compared him to Chris Johnson during the broadcast, I though that was a decent comparison
Herbstreit compared him to former OU RB Chris Brown. Not Chris Johnson
And Chris Johnson is not a good comparison at all

Someone else said Cecil the Diesel but got downvoted. Cecil was 5’9”
207 lbs. They both rub/ran hard and break(s) tackles. Cecil was timed with a 4.1 40. Durham’s estimated 40 would be 4.1-4.2. I could not find any actual 40 time on the net for Durham. Caden had 11 rushes for 98 yds vs S Carolina for 8.9 ypc. Cecil in his four games 8.3 ypc. Small sample size but close right now.
I think he compares similarly and REMINDS me of Cecil The Diesel. If Caden can give us Cecil’s production without the baggage we can be really good.
Plus they both have initials CD, lol.

IMO of LSU players he is definite more like Kevin Faulk than others. He has speed, moves and breaks tackles and runs like he means it. (Hard)

The way he fights through tackles reminds me Lebrandon Toefield, Derius Guice, or Joseph Addai
