I think we could end up 10-2 or 9-3 and play in Cap One or Cotton.

I'd like to get either Nebraska (if they can turn it around) in the Cotton (and payback bc we've never beaten thme) or I'd like to beat Ohio State once again in Cap One.

Now, if we win out and I mean WIN out and finish 12-1, Iam hoping for Texas or USC.

Probably Ohio State in the Cap One or OU in the Cotton.

I think OU loses two more games and ends up playing in Indy Bowl vs. Auburn. Good game that would be.

What are the chances we get a BCS bowl at 10-2? I guess its gonna be hard considering boise and tcu might go undefeated

NONE. Bama and UF. Only two teams are allowed BCS bids from a Conference. Make the SEC title game and your in IMO however

If Bama got a BCS bowl over LSU and didn't even win the West, I would personally, destroy the state of Alabama in a storm of fire and brimstone.

Careful...we won the west in '05 and played in the Peach. I think we could pull an '06. Let's say UF trips up and loses a game and then loses again to Bama in SEC c'ship. LSU, at 10-2, could sneak into the Sugar again.

If we beat Bama and win out and then lose to UF in the SEC c'ship game, Sugar again is likely.

If Bama and UF meet in SEC c'ship, both undefeated, there's just no way, now how.

Capital One Bowl against Iowa

Their good and their miracle Hail Mary from 2004 still lingers in my mind, plus Orlando =

Last year was the first year the SECCG loser got to a BCS bowl, no? There is no way we beat out Bama to get to Atlanta, lose, and still get a BCS bowl. Last year was rare because Bama was undefeated and number 1 going into the game.

USC in the Rose. I know they have a Big 10 tie in but it almost happened before, who knows.

You beat Bama and win out then and play UF in the SECCG game. Your Number 3 in the nation going into the game. I dont care what other teams records are. Cincinnati Iowa TCU, Boise could all be undefeated, LSU would be number 3 going into that game and finish in the top 7 after the regular season. We'd almost be a lock for a BCS at large bid

My prediction for BCS (if Bama beats LSU):

BCS title - Texas vs. Alabama

Rose - Iowa vs. Oregon

Fiesta - TCU vs. USC

Sugar - Florida vs. Boise State

Orange - Virginia Tech vs. Cincinnati

Others:

Cap One - LSU vs. Ohio State

Outback - South Carolina vs. Penn State

Cotton - Oklahoma State vs. Georgia

Chic Fil A - Ole Miss vs. Miami, FL

Music City - Clemson vs. Tennessee

Independence - Auburn vs. Kansas State

Liberty - Houston vs. Arkansas

Holiday - Kansas vs. Arizona

Alamo - Nebraska vs. Purdue

Gator - Notre Dame vs. Georgia Tech

And Bama really didn't have SEC BCS competition for the spot.

Had LSU or UGA been respectable outside of the losses that cost them the division Bama would have been sitting out on the BCS fest.
