Who do we think we are?

In 114 seasons of LSU football, we only won 10+ games in only 14 of those seasons, only 3 national titles, and I think 3 undefeated seasons. If you ask me, based on the entirety of the history of the program, we are living in a pretty good era of LSU football. Yet all we hear is constant whining from our fanbase. Enjoy being top 10!

We are a top 10 program. There is a new age of LSU football though, and we can’t resort back to old standards. The amount of resources LSU has in the athletic program, and the talent in Louisiana and neighboring states means we should compete for titles every year.

And we fired a guy who was responsible for several of those because it wasn't good enough. That's what the standard is now.

I feel like I'm talking to a bunch of kids who's nuts just recently dropped. I want to win every damn game every damn season, but I'm also realistic and can appreciate a damn strong football team that's top 10! I remember when an 8 to 9 win season would have our fans excited and rallying around our team. Now we win games and it's foaming at the mouth because we don't blow them out. We should humble ourselves a bit and take a look back at our overall history and look for reasons to be happy and not so damn negative.

We have every resource in the world to compete for and win championships. Sorry you like coming in second, third, or fourth. Just bc you do that doesn't mean we should.

Your point is also stupid. The 10 win threshold means nothing before the 12 game era really.
If we're only playing 10 or 11 games a 10 win record is more difficult to achieve. Some of the years in those 114 we played less than 10 making it impossible. If you're going to use statistics to make a point make sure you aren't an inept fricking a-hole
