Javier Arenas vs Tyrann Mathieu
In 2009 JA had 5 sacks. TM has 1.5.
In 2009 JA had 5 interceptions. TM has 2 Int's.
Javy had 7 punt returns for TD's. TM has 2.
i guess those are the only three stats that matter in football?

what about forced fumbles (6)? fumble recoveries (4)? tackles (70)? clutch performances (many)?

not to mention, Arenas had 7 career punt returns, the most he had in a season was 3 (2008) which is a different year than the year he had his most INTs of 5 in 2009...

so you picked different stats from different years to make your stupid argument. GTFO!

Arenas had a grand total of 0 forced fumbles and fumble recoveries in his career... how is this even a comparison?

Trent Richardson. It would be nice to hold the HTW to less than 100 yds again. But i also think he deserves the trophy for his class and hard work.

He wasn't too classy when, after losing, said Bama was still better (or gooder) than LSU.

Mark Ingram was far more gracious after they lost last year.

Monte Ball = 2014 Total yards, 38 TDS
Trent Richardson = 1910 Total yards, 23 TDS

Monte Ball also lead his team to a conference title and BCS Bowl. Where is Richardsons conference title?

Im guessing TR deserves the Heisman as well..

Richardson , shutting down a heisman winner and winning the NC would be a great top off for the year!

Da Honey Badger won't win it, but I think it's great that he is a finalist. I think RG3PO will get it.

I honestly don't care. The heisman has become somewhat of a joke over the past 20 years.

RGIII and TM7 deserve it more then Luck, Richardson, and Ball.

I have to think Richardson is gonna get it. Which stats wise Ball deserves it more than him.

When it comes to players making game changing plays RGIII and TM7 deserve it.

If TM7 had made a game changing touchdown(int, fumble, or punt return) against Alabama then I'd have to believe he would be the favorite.

Of course TM7 but if not then RG is probably more deserving than TR but I'd like to see TR33 get it.

Somewhat is an understatement.

I hope TM7 gets it, but other than that, the Heisman Trophy has become almost meaningless.
