"We" aren't in charge of the list of candidates. So, it is still a bit too "off season" for me.
HA, this board 100% got Matt Canada hired. They're listening and watching.
Well, maybe not anymore, but they were at one time.

Eh
He defenses at Penn State and Miss State (2018) were great
Tennessee stint and thisnuear at Miss State not so much.
But there isn’t a DC out there who isn’t talent dependent.
I want To say he’s a 4-3 over which would be a pretty easy transition personnel wise.
It still involves a nose tackle. Our BOLB essentially becomes a much more dedicated pass rushing DE.

Bill Busch is likely to follow Aranda and be his coordinator. Now whether that is coordinator in name only similar to Sabans, who knows.

If Dave leaves at this point, it would probably mean a significant salary cut for him. I don't see it happening.
seriously? He's more likely to double his salary as a head coach at Baylor.

I wanted Shoop when we hired Aranda, he is there for the taking if needed...thru no fault of his own. His defense was just undermanned and his offense was a freaking joke. If he is a good culture guy, then I think he would be a great choice.

I would throw the checkbook at Kevin Steele to get him back.

Excuse me, but I trust Ed O far more than I trust you to choose his new DC should Aranda ever leave.

Anyone we want.
LSU is proven to get great players, and O leaves the coordinator alone, as long as he gets to coach up the D line.
