I first heard it in regards to the NBA bubble, when the Laker’s Avery Bradley “opted out” of the bubble.

Because when you opted out you took a job at a plant and not the NFL.

Chase quit too. The term “opt out” was created to opt out temporarily with the intention to return. Chase quit. Marshall quit. Shelvin quit. Vincent quit. Farrell opted out

Does not matter, the reasons don’t matter, does not matter if you agree or not.... it is still quitting , not some politically correct, make me feel better, soy boy, term of “opting out”

Walk into Os office tell him Coach I got too much to loose, I know you invested a lot of time and money in me , I know I made a commitment to this team and you passed up other players to give me a scholarship but I quit

"The NCAA has already declared athletes must be allowed to opt out of the 2020 season due to COVID-19"

So how many are opting out due to COVID19???

It’s a cover term invented by the people who push for this stuff.

Oh shut up what good would these next couple games be for him? Get injured lose millions? Stock was not really going to go up at this point. Smart move. It’s not like LSU is playing for much this season.

Farrell is the only one on our team who legitimately did that and came back once his family got healthy. The rest quit to enter the draft
