Of the Omaha players that we faced, ones you can’t help but appreciate

Darren Dreifort was a tank, I kind of think the same thing about Wyatt Langford. Awesome ball players.

You mean individuals and not teams?

That Hawk kid for Wake this year was a terror. I’d love a guy like that on our team, kind of like a Kramer or Cole Freeman.

Thinking back, always enjoyed sending Jake Mangum back to the dugout, but I never really put much thought into individual players.

Lowder dominated us more than Skenes dominated them, tbh.

How is 0 better than 0

Or are you saying that because they got a double off of Paul?

Lowder: 7.0 IP, 3 H, 0 ER, 2 BB, 6 K
Skenes: 8.0 IP, 2 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, 9 K

Lowder may have been more “efficient” but in no way did he throw a better game than Skenes. Sure he had the lower pitch count but that’s due to pitching styles. Power pitchers will always throw a lot more pitches and look like they’re laboring through than the pitch to contact guys.

That’s the baseball season rant in a nutshell

Lowder may have been more “efficient”

I wouldn’t even say that. His pitch count was lower because he pitched one less inning. And in that 1 less inning he gave up more hits and walked more.

But he was more dominant than Paul

Remember Rudy Rodriguez of Long Beach St that had that ridiculous open stance? Always thought he was pretty cool.

Rodriguez getting torched in the 9th by Rios and Walker was fun.

Wyatt Langford is a dude.

In person he’s a man amongst boys.

Kinda reminds me of Trout. I wasn’t nervous for anyone who came to the plate except him. I’m sure I’ll be a fan of his at the next level.

How so? LSU got more hits off Lowder than they did off Skenes.
