Anyone think Whit passes on the draft to play for FIL in 2026?

I think the chance is better than it was with Baker coming back.

Yeah I do. If he was going pro he wouldn’t have played the last few games.

I think he comes back. Mostly because the season he just had. He wasn’t quite himself early in the season coming back from the injury. Then he gets hurt again and misses half the season.
He should come back and play another season being back to himself physically. He can play himself back to being a day 2 pick.

I think he stays to play one more year with his brothers and hang out with little Kiffin

I hope he comes back, and isn’t lil bro considered the more talented of the 3? Wonder if Zach has been introduced to Presley yet.

He may very well be staying, but he strikes me as the kind of player who is playing no matter what.

Great thread title. Thanks. Keep it up.

That’s a tough call for him. Playing at his intensity level invites injury, and that equals big money. Think Nuss. If a top tier QB comes in it takes a lot of pressure off the D and that would factor in. And up the likelihood of playing for an NC.
I would not be surprised if he stays. Life chances like this in youth is special. There’s always the ‘success’ grind when the magic of youth goes away.

He needs to prove he can last a whole season.

My narrative of this whole situation is that we blew up Ole Miss and hired Lane so we can get Landry here full time in an effort to keep Whit for one more year.
It's an SEC love story.

CLK retweeted something about he had played his last game at LSU.

West Weeks was the subject of the Kiffin tweet.

Oh yeah.
I'd honestly be shocked if he did go pro.
Plus the kid is so damn marketable, his NIL is gonna be pretty damn good

I would think being able to play another year with his younger brother is the biggest reason he’d come back.

Would he be drafted in the top 3 rounds? He seems a 4th rounder right now based off the season/injury

Most guys want to play in every game possible and need to put tape out there

Internet chatter a few weeks ago had him already signed with an agent who had him set up with a trip to the West Coast to prepare for the combine. Of course, this was before recent developments on the defensive side of the ball.
